The Living Word
If you haven’t already done so, please read my blog article, “Faith,” before proceeding.
Why does faith come by hearing the Word of YAH? This is so because one must understand that he/she must study, search out YAH’s Word in order for Him to have something to work with. YAH’s Word is Truth & He uses it to purify & mold all those that are His.
John 17:17, Purify them in Your truth, Your Word is Truth.”
YAH uses His very Word to transform the minds of all His called & chosen. The Word of YAH is that Living Water spoken of by Yahshua. This Living Water transforms/molds one into the perfect vessel, making it ready to accept YAH’s RUACH (SPIRIT) for His perfect will to be done, and for one’s purification to enter into His Kingdom. That is revealed so profoundly in the first few chapters of the book of Yahuchanon (John) which we will shortly dive into.
As just stated, one must understand that he/she must study, search out YAH’s Word in order for Him to have something to work with. YAH purifies and molds us via His Word, just as He formed Adam from the clay of the earth,
Gen 2:7, “And YHVH Alohim formed the man out of dust (H6083 earth, mud) from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. And the man became a living being.”
Father YAH is the Potter and He sent forth His Living Word to mold us.
Isa 64:8, “And now, oh YHVH, You are our Father. We are the clay, and You our Potter. And we are all the work of Your hand.”
One cannot be molded by the Potter, YAH, if one is not doing his/her part. As we are the clay, to be molded, the clay that we are, must remain filled up & soaked with YAH’s Word.
Let’s go over a few Scripts that reveal YAH’s Word as the Living Water He has gifted us.
John 4:10, “Yahshua answered and said unto her, If you knew the gift of Alohim, (see Eph 2:4-10) and who it is that says to you, Give me to drink; you would have asked of him, and he would have given you living water.” Verse 14, But whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”
Sirach (also known as Ecclesiasticus) 1:5, “The Word of Alohim MOST HIGH is the fountain of wisdom; and her ways are everlasting commandments.”
Now we are going to go through Yahuchanon (John) chapters 1 & 2 to get a deep understanding of how YAH’s Word, (His Truth, that living water) & His RUACH (His SPIRIT), work in unison and are utilized for His perfect will to be done.
John 1:14, “And the Word became flesh and pitched His tent among us, and we saw His esteem, esteem as of an only brought-forth of a father, complete in favor and Truth.”
Scripture reveals that the Word became flesh. That flesh was Yahshua Mashiach, (Messiah). He is the living Word (the Truth) of YAH. As we are about to read via Scripture, after he was atoned, Yahshua also sent forth the RUACH of the MOST HIGH. Obtaining both YAH’s Word (His Truth) & His RUACH are essential because we are warned that we can only worship Him in RUACH & in Truth (see John chapter 4:23-24).
John immersed the people with water, but Yahshua immerses with RUACH. Yet, as you will soon see via the Scriptures, the immersion of one in water is symbolic of one being washed, cleansed, by the Word of YAH (aka Yahshua himself).
John 1:32-34, “And Yahuchanon (John), bore witness, saying, ‘I have seen the RUACH coming down from heaven like a dove and remain on Him.
33 And I did not know Him, but He who sent me to immerse in water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the RUACH coming down and remaining on Him, this is He who immerses in the RUACH HaQadosh. (Set Apart SPIRIT)’
34 And I have seen and have witnessed that this is the Son of Alohim.”
“The formality” of a physical immersion is to be symbolic of one’s True immersion in the Living Water (The Word of YAH). That is why we see many people being “so called baptized,” and remain unchanged. They have undergone a physical immersion but have not truly undergone a spiritual immersion by YAH’s Word, nor obtained His RUACH. Via immersion, Yahshua laid forth the example for all to be immersed with living water (the Word of YAH) to pave the way for YAH’s RUACH, which he would send forth. In addition, YAH’s RUACH is needed to help us understand His Word by which we are purified. Again, that is why it is critical for us to have both YAH’s Word & His RUACH within us.

Yahshua prophesied that the Father would send forth the RUACH in his name, John 14:26, “But the Helper, the RUACH HaQadosh, whom the Father shall send in My Name, He shall teach you all, and remind you of all that I said to you.”
Yahshua further informed that another helper, YAH’s RUACH of Truth (His Living Word) would dwell inside of all true believers:
John 14:16-17, “And I shall ask the Father, and He shall give you another Helper, to stay with you forever –
17 the RUACH of the Truth, whom the world is unable to receive, because it does not see Him or know Him. But you know Him, for He stays with you and shall be in you.”
Recall, Yahshua informed his apostles after his resurrection, that he would be with them “ALWAYS!” Matt 28:20, “…And see, I am with you always, till the end of the age. Aman.”
How is the RUACH of Truth (The Word of YAH, Yahshua himself) in all believers that are hearers & doers of the Word? This is possible because we are endowed, filled with YAH’s RUACH which enables us to not only read, hear, but also live out His living Word.
Out of our bellies as Yahshua prophesied, flows rivers of the living Word (Truth) by way of the RUACH HaQadosh. Let’s get a Scripture witness from both the Old & New Covenant texts:
Ezek 36:25, “Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.”
YAH wasn’t speaking of physical water, He was referencing His Son, Yahshua’s righteousness who would come forth as His living Word as we’ve already read in John 1:14. We are clearly told via the prophet Isaiah that our righteousness is as filthy rags, so we need Yahshua’s righteousness, the Word of YAH, that Living Water to cleanse us.
John 7:38-39, “He that believes on me, as the Scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39 (But this spoke he of the RUACH, which they that believe on him should receive: for the RUACH Ha’Qadosh was not yet given; because that Yahshua was not yet esteemed).”
Yahshua also confirmed that it is YAH’s RUACH that gives life and that the Words that he spoke (which are YAH’s Words), are RUACH & life! Let’s give it the Scripture test.
John 6:63, “It is the RUACH that gives life, the flesh does not profit at all. The words that I speak to you are RUACH and are life.” Verse 68, “Then Shim‛on Kěpha (Peter) answered Him, “Master, to whom shall we go? You possess words of everlasting life.
69 “And we have believed, and we know that You are the Messiah, the Son of the living Alohim.”
HalleluYAH! Scripture clearly reveals that the symbolism of water immersion represents the living water we are to obtain, which is the living Word (the Truth) of the MOST HIGH. In conjunction, the Word can only be obtained and understood by one receiving YAH’s RUACH.
We see this foreshadowing of the giving of the living Word & RUACH prior to Yahshua’s atonement in John chapter 2, in reference to the wedding feast. Let’s read Scripture and then break it down for comprehension.
John 2:1-11, “And on the third day there was a wedding in Qanah (Cana) of Galil (Galilee), and the mother of Yahshua was there.
2 And both Yahshua and His taught ones were invited to the wedding.
3 And when they were short of wine, the mother of Yahshua said to Him, “They have no wine.”
4 Yahshua said to her, “Woman, what is that to Me and to you? My hour has not yet come.”
5 His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever He says to you.”
6 And there were six stone water-jugs standing there, according to the mode of cleansing of the Yahudim, each holding two or three measures.
7 Yahshua said to them, “Fill the water-jugs with water.” And they filled them up to the brim.
8 And He said to them, “Now draw out and take it to the master of the feast.” So they took it.
9 But when the master of the feast had tasted the water that had become wine, and did not know where it came from – though the servants who had drawn the water knew – the master of the feast called the bridegroom,
10 and said to him, “Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when they have drunk, then that which is poorer. You have kept the good wine until now.”
11 This, the beginning of the signs, Yahshua did in Qanah of Galil, and manifested His esteem. And His taught ones believed in Him.
There is a lot revealed in those few 11 verses, so we will take it verse by verse. In verse 1, we see that the wedding was held on the 3rd day, in Kana/Cana, of Galilee.
*Kana/Cana means Place of Reeds (G2580), and comes from the Hebrew word Qanah (H7071), meaning Reed.
*Galilee means Circuit (Circle) or district, derived from the Hebrew word Galil (H1551), known as the Circuit or District of Heathens
*The Number 3 represents Yahshua’s resurrection on the 3rd day.
So we have the wedding location in the place of reeds in a district of heathens. There is a telling prophesy concerning Yahshua in reference to reeds & bringing forth the judgement of Truth to heathens. Yet, let that marinate for a moment while we bring forth verse 2.
“And both Yahshua and His taught ones were invited to the wedding.”
Okay, so in the Place of reeds, we have a circle of heathens. Among these heathens are Yahshua and his disciples (aka taught ones). So, where do we see this prophesied in Scripture?
Isa 42:1-3, “See, My Servant whom I uphold, My Chosen One My being has delighted in! I have put My RUACH upon Him; He brings forth judgement (right-ruling) to the nations.
2 “He does not cry out, nor lifts up His voice, nor causes His voice to be heard in the street.
3 A crushed reed He does not break, and smoking flax He does not quench. He brings forth judgement in accordance with Truth.”
We see this prophesy given through Isaiah fulfilled by Yahshua when he walked the earth in flesh. At that time Yahshua did not come to crush the people nor put out their burning wick (smoking flax of a candle, lamp; metaphorically here as representing one’s life). They were already being punished via Roman rule. Endowed with YAH’s RUACH, Yahshua came to give himself as the ultimate sin offering so the people could turn back to YAH as prophesied.
We also see the prophesy that unfolded at the wedding feast concerning one turning back to YAH and being revived via His risen Son, by the prophet Hosea & then validated by the apostle Shaul (Paul).
Hosea 6:1-2, “Come, and let us turn back to YHVH. For He has torn but He does heal us, He has stricken but He binds us up.
2 After two days He shall revive us, on the third day He shall raise us up, so that we live before Him.”
1 Cor 15:3-4, “For I delivered to you at the first that which I also received: that Messiah died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised the third day, according to the Scriptures,”
Yahshua came to speak Truth, and die for the sins of heathens & be raised up on the 3rd day. He came to give all who would heed the opportunity to heal via the living Word & the RUACH he would send forth. He did not come to destroy.
Scripture reveals reference to the RUACH & living Word coming forth at the wedding feast in John 2:3-5.
“And when they were short of wine, the mother of Yahshua said to Him, “They have no wine.”
4 Yahshua said to her, “Woman, what is that to Me and to you? My hour has not yet come.”
5 His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever He says to you.”
Yahshua’s mother informed him that there was no wine for the wedding feast. Paraphrasing, Yahshua in-turn tells her, “What’s that got to do with your or I? I can’t give the wine now, my hour has not yet come.” The wine Yahshua was referencing was the RUACH. Why do you think they call wine, spirits?
Note what we learned earlier from Yahshua’s statement in John chapter 14:16-17,
“And I shall ask the Father, and He shall give you another Helper, to stay with you forever-
17 the RUACH of the Truth, whom the world is unable to receive, because it does not see Him or know Him. But you know Him, for He stays with you and shall be in you.”
Verse 26, “But the Helper, the RUACH HaQadosh (Set Apart SPIRIT), whom the Father will send in My Name, he shall teach you all, and remind you of all that I said to you.”
Yahshua also alludes to this same fact of sending forth the RUACH for our vessels (bodies) in Matt 9, & in this reference, he is the bridegroom,
Matt 9:15, “And Yahshua said to them, “Are the friends of the bridegroom able to mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days shall come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they shall fast.” Verse 17, “Neither do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins burst, and the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved.”
Yahshua was informing his disciples that after he was atoned he would send forth the RUACH, so they could be born again, aka new wine skin filled with new wine. There in is how both the RUACH and our vessels preserved.
Going back to John 2:6-8, we see the instruction (Torah) of Yahshua and what he tells his taught ones (disciples) to do. This is something we should all take note of & implement.
Verse 6, “And there were six stone water-jugs standing there, according to the mode of cleansing of the Yahudim, each holding two or three measures.”
Clearly there are 6 stone water jugs (vessels) for holding water for cleansing. Remember, the Word of YAH is living water that cleanses & prepares one’s vessel for the RUACH. The fact that there were exactly 6 water vessels at the wedding feast is symbolic of the day mankind was created (see Gen 1:23-31).
John 1:33, “And I did not know Him, but He who sent me to immerse in water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the RUACH coming down and remaining on Him, this is He who immerses in the RUACH HaQadosh.”
Alright, continuing with the wedding feast, let’s see just how much of YAH’s living Word, Yahshua instructs us to fill our vessels up with for cleaning.
John 2:7, “Yahshua said to them, “Fill the water-jugs with water.” And they filled them up to the brim.” Looks like not an inch of our vessels should be void of Father’s Word. We must be completely immersed in it. Now, we see that next, Yahshua turned that living Word (Water) into RUACH (Wine) & then it was taken to someone.
Verse 8, “And He said to them, Now draw out and take it to the Master of the feast. So they took it.”
Yahshua’s disciples were obedient to his Word and took the RUACH they received to its owner, the Master Creator, aka YAH! Take special Note of what Father YAH, the Master of the wedding feast does; He first calls the bridegroom & then validates the wine. Let’s have a look.
Verse 9, “But when the Master of the feast had tasted the water that had become wine, and did not know where it came from – though the servants who had drawn the water knew – the Master of the feast called the bridegroom,
10 and said to him, “Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when they have drunk, then that which is poorer. You have kept the good wine until now.”
YAH validates those who have His RUACH, aka the good wine, and will say to the Bridegroom, Yahshua, that he has kept (guarded) the good wine (aka those filled w/His RUACH) until its proper time. What time is that? The time of the wedding feast! Let’s give this conclusion the Scripture test via both before & after Yahshua’s resurrection.
John 17:11-12, “And I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Set-apart Father, guard them in Your Name which You have given Me, so that they might be one, as We are.
12 “When I was with them in the world, I was guarding them in Your Name which You have given Me, and I watched over them, and not one of them perished except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be filled.”
As just read, Yahshua himself, as he prayed to the Father, stated that the good wine was being Kept, guarded in the Father’s name.
Now, Scripture will reveal that the good wine is being kept, guarded until the wedding feast for all those who obey Yahshua, and are cleansed with the Word of YAH and filled with His RUACH. Revelation 19:6-9, reads as follows.
“And I heard as the voice of a great crowd, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunders, saying, “HalleluYAH, for YHVH AL Shaddai reigns!
7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him praise, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife prepared herself.”
How has she prepared herself? Let’s keep reading to find out.
8 “And to her it was given to be dressed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteousness of the set-apart ones.
9 And he said to me, ‘Write, ‘Beruk (blessed) are those who have been called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ And he said to me, ‘These are the true words of Alohim.’”
The isha (bride) is dressed in fine linen which is the righteousness of the set apart ones. Let’s break down her wedding cleansing process to show that it involves,
- The washing of the body by the Word of YAH, which is the RUACH of Truth, The Living Water,
- The bride receiving YAH’s Set Apart RUACH, &
- The bride receiving and putting on her wedding garment, which is that of her King Yahshua, (the righteousness she obtains from the bridegroom himself).
The bride’s own garment will not do as our righteousness is as filthy rags (Isa 64:6). So the bride must obtain her righteousness via her Bridegroom. Let’s get started with the washing of the bride with water, & proceed from there.
Eph 5:23-27, “For the man is the head of the woman, even as Mashiach is the head of the called out assembly: and he is the Savior of the body.
24 Therefore as the called out assembly is subject unto Mashiach, so let the women be to their own men in everything.
25 Men, love your women, even as Mashiach also loved the called out assembly, and gave himself for it;
26 That he might purify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the Word,
27 That he might present it to himself a honorable called out assembly, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be qadosh and without blemish.”
That was a Scripture explosion!
So the bride is purified/cleansed by the living Word of YAH, His RUACH of Truth, which is His Son, Yahshua! Now, before going further, we must back up and shine light on a point that was brought up in Rev 19, concerning the righteousness of the bride, which is point 3.
I stated that the bride has no righteousness in, nor of herself. She must obtain righteousness via her King & Bridegroom Yahshua. Let’s prove this via Scripture & in doing so we will also get a witness to the washing of the bride by the Word via one of Yahshua’s commands.
Rom 13:12-14, “The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light (Precept John 8:12)
13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
14 But put ye on the Adonai Yahshua Ha’Mashiach, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.””
Gal 3:25-27, “But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
26 For ye are all the children of Alohim by faith in Mashiach Yahshua.
27 For as many of you as have been immersed into Mashiach have put on Mashiach.”
Let’s get a few more Scripts concerning how the bride obtains righteousness and purity through Yahshua, the Mashiach (Messiah) the Father has gifted us.
Rom 10:4, “For Mashiach is the end (G5056 goal)2 of the Torah for righteousness to every one that believes.”
Now belief, faith & works go hand in hand. We can’t just cherry pick Scripture & say, “I believe! I believe!” & then don’t prove it by faith & works of the fruit of the SPIRIT. Let’s, with 2 more Scripture references, conclude points 1 & 3 of the bride’s preparation in reference to the washing of the body by the Living Word of YAH (Yahshua Messiah) and putting on the wedding garment (Yahshua’s righteousness).
Eph 4:21-24, “If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the Truth is in Yahshua: (That Truth being the Word of YAH),
22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the ruach of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after Alohim is created in righteousness and true purity.”
John 15:3-5, “Now ye are clean through the Word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”
Without King Yahshua, the bride cannot be cleaned, cannot bear fruit, nor can she go to the wedding feast. Why? Because without Yahshua, the Word of YAH, she can do nothing! She must abide in her king & her king abides in her, because they two are one in the SPIRIT.
John 14:15-18, “If ye love (G25) me, guard my commandments.
16 And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;
17Even the RUACH Amet (Truth); whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but ye know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.”
We have discussed points 1 & 3 of the bride’s preparation for the wedding feast. The Bridegroom has informed the bride that he will come to and guide her. She must be obedient, which includes abiding in the Truth, aka The Living Word of YAH, thus putting on his righteousness, in order to accomplish the final point; which is obtaining YAH’s Set Apart RUACH. The bride obtaining YAH’s RUACH enables her to understand spiritual things and bear the fruit of the Spirit.
Why is obtaining YAH’s RUACH critical to the bride’s preparation for the wedding feast? As just stated, once the body is washed with the Word of YAH, the RUACH is needed for one to Understand the Word (that which is spiritual) and Live it out!
1 Cor 2:12, “Now we have received, not the ruach of the world, but the RUACH which is of Alohim; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of Alohim.”
Verse 14, “But the natural man receives not the things of the RUACH of Alohim: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
All the knowledge we see coming out via the Father’s Word would not be possible without the pouring out of His RUACH as promised,
Acts 2:16-18, “But this is what was spoken by the prophet Yo’al (Joel):
17 And it shall be in the last days, says Alohim, that I shall pour out of My RUACH on all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams,
18 and also on My male servants and on My female servants I shall pour out My RUACH in those days, and they shall prophesy.”
Now, I would have you know that, if one does not possess Father’s Set Apart RUACH, one leaves him/herself open as a portal for spirits that are against the MOST HIGH.
Matt 12:43-45, “Now when the unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none.
44 Then it says, ‘I shall return to my house from which I came.’ And when it comes, it finds it empty, swept, and decorated.
45 Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they enter and dwell there. And the last of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation (G1074, age, nation, time).”
The flesh of mankind is simply a vessel for spirit. Further, one either has the SPIRIT of the MOST HIGH or that of the Adversary (HaSatan, unclean spirits). Scripture states clearly that we are interacting with unseen spirits not the visible flesh. Let’s have a look at a few examples that express this fact:
YAH sent forth a spirit to trouble King Saul who had been stripped of his kingship & stripped of the RUACH of the MOST High due to his disobedience:
1 Samuel 16:13-15, “Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the RUACH of YHVH came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.
14 But the RUACH of YHVH departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from YHVH troubled him.
15 And Saul’s servants said unto him, Behold now, an evil spirit from Alohim troubles thee.”
In the New Covenant text we see our Messiah casting out evil spirits. One such example is in Matt 8:28-32,
“And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.
29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Yahshua, thou Son of Alohim? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?
30 And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.
31 So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.
32 And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.”
So we see that the spiritual realm is very active despite what we discern with the naked eye. Now let’s turn to the famous first exodus scene to see how even war is fought in the spiritual realm.
Exod 14:10-28, “And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Yashar’al (Yisrael) cried out unto YHVH.
11 And they said unto Moshe (Moses), Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore has thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?
12 Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.
13 And Moshe said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of YHVH, which He will show to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
14 YHVH shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
15 And YHVH said unto Moshe, Wherefore cry thou unto Me? speak unto the children of Yashar’al, that they go forward:
16 But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Yashar’al shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.
17 And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get Mehonour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.
18 And the Egyptians shall know that I am YHVH, when I have gotten Mehonour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.
19 And the malak (angel) of Alohim, which went before the camp of Yashar’al, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:
20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Yashar’al; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.
21 And Moshe stretched out his hand over the sea; and YHVH caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.
22 And the children of Yashar’al went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground:and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
23 And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.
24 And it came to pass, that in the break of day watch YHVH looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,
25 And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Yashar’al; for YHVH fights for them against the Egyptians.
26 And YHVH said unto Moshe, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.
27 And Moshes stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the break of day appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and YHVH overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.
28 And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.”
Moshe was the vessel utilized to showcase YAH’s Power before Egypt. Yet Moshe was merely the vessel, the Power and Authority belongs to & comes from YAH Almighty. Let’s get another example of the MOST HIGH YAH fighting for His people by utilizing the vessels of mankind to showcase His Power & Authority.
Yahshua (Johsua) 10:6-8, “And the men of Gibeon sent unto Yahshua (Joshua) to the camp to Gilgal, saying, Slack not your hand from your servants; come up to us quickly, and save us (H3467), and help us: for all the kings of the Amorites who dwell in the mountains are gathered together against us.
7 So Yahshua ascended from Gilgal, he, and all the people of war with him, and all the mighty men of valor.
8 And YHVH said unto Yahshua, Fear them not: for I have delivered them into your hand; there shall not a man of them stand before you.”
Verse 10, “And it came to pass, as they fled from before Yashar’al, and were in the going down to Bethhoron, that YHVH cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they weremore which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Yashar’al slew with the sword.” Let’s get one more example.
Dan 10:5-7, “Then I lifted up my eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:
6 His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in color to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.
7 And I Dani’al (Daniel) alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.”
Verse 11, “And he said unto me, O Dani’al, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto you, and stand upright: for unto you am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.”
Verses 13-14, “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Mika’al, one of the chief princes, came to my aid; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
14 Now I am come to make you understand thatshall befall your people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.”
Verse 20, “Then said he, Know you wherefore I come unto you? And now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Yavan (Grecia/Greece) shall come.”
As stated above, we have malakim (angels) fighting the real battle in the spiritual realm. The MOST HIGH YAH had given Babylon & its territories into the hands of Persia & the Medes. Then Persia was defeated and the MOST HIGH allowed power to be given to Greece.
Take the time to read the book of Dani’al & you will discover that Father YAH also showed King Nebuchadnezzar that it was He that had given him power for a time, to accomplish His will. When King Nebuchadnezzar refused to change his ways & honor the MOST HIGH, YAH confounded His mind to that of an animal (Dani’al 4).
Scripture history showcases repeatedly, that it was & still is the MOST HIGH who fights for those that are His. He is the central point of Power & Authority that actually fights for His people. Whether mankind views it as a spirit or flesh, the Power & Authority is always that of Father YAH. He uses the vessel of mankind and spirits as He sees fit to accomplish His perfect will. On the flip side, those who are not utilized as vessels for the MOST HIGH are free game for the fallen Adversary & other wicked spirits.
Let’s bring this point on home with some New Covenant Scripture Truth of apostle Shaul (Paul), Eph 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
So when people give lip service & tell you that being possessed with spirits is a New Testament phenome or that the MOST HIGH doesn’t use people and spirits as His vessels to save anyone, just show them these Scripture references & let the Word of YAH prove them liars. We are earthly spiritual beings whom the MOST HIGH has placed in flesh. We are to possess the MOST HIGH’s RUACH and not that of the Adversary. We do so in faith, via obedience by the washing of His Word and the favorable gift of His RUACH.
In Summary:
- 1. Faith comes by hearing, & hearing by the Word of YHVH,
“But they have not all obeyed the Besorah (gospel). For Yeshayahu (Esaias) saith, Adonai (Master), who has believed our report?
17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of Alohim.”
As such,
- 2. The Word of YAH reveals how we must manifest our faith (Matt 12:50, James 1:21-22).
- 3. In-turn, those truly repentant are washed clean by the Living Word of YAH, as the Creator uses it to mold & transform the mind.
John 17:17, “Purify them in Your Truth, Your Word is Truth.”
- 4. One’s purification by YAH’s Word is made possible by the gift of YHVH’s RUACH in us, which allows His Word to be discerned & lived out.
John 14:26, “But the Comforter, which is the RUACH HaQadosh, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
- 5. Water immersion is symbolic of one being washed clean by YAH’s Word in preparation to obtain His RUACH HaQadosh (Set Apart SPIRIT), as it is YAH’s RUACH that gives life.
John 6:63, “It is the RUACH that gives life, the flesh does not profit at all. The words that I speak to you are RUACH and are life.”
- 6. Yahshua not only possesses the words of everlasting life, he is the very Word of YAH that cleanses & was atoned to send forth YAH’s RUACH.
John 1:14, “And the Word became flesh and pitched His tent among us, and we saw His esteem, esteem as of an only brought-forth of a father, complete in favor and Truth.” Verse 17, “for the Torah was given through Moshe (Moses) – the favor and the Truth came through Yahshua Messiah.”
- 7. Yahshua is Truth, which again, is YAH’s Living Word. It is YAH’s Living Word, Yahshua, & the RUACH sent forth that instructs us on how to obtain the gift of life eternal.
John 18-26, “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
19 Yet a little while, and the world sees me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
21 He that has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Adonai, how is it that thou will manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Yahshua answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
24 He that loves me not keeps not my sayings: and the Word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.
25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
26 But the Comforter, which is the RUACH HaQadosh, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
- 8. Without YAH’s RUACH, it is impossible for one to please Him as one will not be able to truly discern & live out His Word.
1 Cor 2:12, “Now we have received, not the ruach of the world, but the RUACH which is of Alohim; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of Alohim.”
Verse 14, “But the natural man receives not the things of the RUACH of Alohim: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
Just as we read via the wedding feast in which Yahshua turned water into wine,
- 9. Only those who listen to the Bridegroom (Word of YAH), & drink that Living Water, filling up their entire vessel with it, will obtain YAH’s RUACH (the good wine).
YAH, the Master of the wedding feast, will call His Son, the Bridegroom. Then He will taste test the wine of our vessels and see that it is truly good, because we possess His own RUACH given by His Son.
John 1:9-10, “But when the Master of the feast had tasted the water that had become wine, and did not know where it came from – though the servants who had drawn the water knew – the Master of the feast called the Bridegroom,
10 and said to him, “Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when they have drunk, then that which is poorer. You have kept the good wine until now.”
We will conclude with more amazing symbolism in this wedding feast, as there are 2 more critical points that need to be addressed and adhered to by all believers.
During the wedding feast (John 2) Yahshua attended, we are informed that His mother, His brethren & He were there. They were all obedient to Yahshua’s instructions. The Word of YAH tells us that only those who hear & do the will of the MOST HIGH are Yahshua’s mother & brethren,
Matt 12:48-50, “48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? And who are my brethren?
49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his Talmidiym, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! 50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.”
What were the instructions Yahshua gave to his taught ones (disciples) at the wedding feast? That brings us to point 10,
- 10. The Master (YAH) of the Wedding Feast called forth the Bridegroom only after Yahshua’s servants were obedient to his instructions and filled their vessels with Water which he then turned into Wine.
This is very telling, as we see that YAH will call forth our Mashiach Yahshua once His Bride has made herself ready by the washing of the Living Word (the Living Water) & has been sealed with YAH’s RUACH (Eph 5:23-27).
Living Water = Living Word
Wine = YAH’s RUACH
Let’s get a Scripture reminder of the “isha,” called in English, the bride of the Lamb having prepared herself for her King.
Rev 19:6-8,“And I heard as the voice of a great crowd, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunders, saying, “HalleluYAH, for YHVH AL Shaddai reigns!
7 “Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him praise, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife prepared herself.”
8 And to her it was given to be dressed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteousnesses of the set-apart ones.
Those invited to or who will be a part of the wedding feast (in a good way), must not only be washed with the Living Word, but also sealed with YAH’s RUACH.
Eph 1:13, “In whom you also, having heard the Word of the Truth, the Besorah (Good News) of your deliverance, in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the RUACH HaQadosh of promise.”
Eph 4:30, “And grieve not the RUACH HaQadosh of Alohim whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.”
If one keeps reading John chapter 2, one learns that all those obedient to Yahshua went with him to Capernaum (John 2:12), and later others followed. So much so that there wasn’t even standing room left (Mark 2:1-2). Why did anyone who had any sense at all go to Capernaum to seek Yahshua? Rumor got out & the people learned of and could feel the Living Word flow from Yahshua and sought consultation and comfort, along with some miracle working. They did not know that Yahshua, soon to be atoned for the truly repentant, would send forth, the Comforter.
John 2:12, “After this He went down to Capernaum (Kapar/KapharNaum), He and His mother, and His brothers, and His taught ones. And there they stayed not many days.”
Capernaum (G2584), derived from the Hebrew words Kapar and Naum
Kapar= Village
Naum= to be sorry or to comfort
These meanings are merely the surface level. YAH always hides His Truth in plain sight for those that are truly seeking Him. Now check this out. Every letter in the Hebrew language has a meaning. As such, the Hebrew word Kapar, KPR (כפר) is a verb and a noun.
The verb Kapar, KPR (כפר) denotes the formation of a protective perimeter around a vulnerable interior. It also means to atone or purge (see Lev 16:32).
The noun Koper, KPR (כפר) refers to the cost to keep one out of slavery, the price of a human’s life, price of ransom (see Exod 21:30 & Isa 43:3).
Again, the surface level of the word KPR (כפר) in noun form, means village where people gather together. However, in noun form keen emphasis is placed on the cell formation that hosts the wisdom of that social structure.
The Living Word is telling us that we must allow Yahshua, he who paid our ransom (1 Cor 6:20, Zech 11:12-13, Matt 27:3-8), to give us consultation in which not only comfort and wisdom will be imparted, but also protection from YAH’s wrath to come on all those whom are disobedient. While the disobedient wicked people of this world are receiving the judgement of YAH’s wrath, those obedient to His Living Word, His Son, Yahshua, will be consoled and protected from His wrath in the Village of Comfort.
Capernaum = (Kapar/Kaphar Naum = Village of Comfort
The Word of the MOST HIGH is Living! When dissected from its true Hebrew perspective, it is not passive but active, and is still giving us instruction long after the prophets and apostles have died and are awaiting the resurrection.
Next we have the final point that I will bring forth from this amazing 2nd chapter of the book of John. That point is, after a person
- Obeys the commands of Yahshua and receives the living Word that cleanses,
- Obtains the seal of YAH’s RUACH, – He sups with that person and consultation and comfort is given (John 14:15-21). After this process is complete for all true believers & doers of the Word,
- All hell will break out for those of this world.
How do we know this? After that same wedding feast, mentioned in John chapter 2, once Yahshua, his mother, his taught ones (disciples) and his brethren, went to the Village of Consultation (aka Capernaum), we are told that the Pesach (Passover) was at hand!
John 2:12-13, “After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days.
13 And the Yahudim Pesach (Passover) was at hand, and Yahshua went up to Yerushalam,”
As such, next, Yahshua then went and cleansed the Temple.
Verses 14-16, “And found in the Temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the Temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables;
16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.”
Yahshua tossed out everything that offended the MOST HIGH. Why is that significant? It is significant because Yahshua is currently doing the very same thing again via YAH’s Word & His RUACH! He is presently cleaning and marking YAH’s Temple, as we are the Temple of the MOST HIGH YAH (2 Cor 6:19)! The Good Shepherd is ensuring his sheep are prepared (washed, sealed, transformed, & covered) before the final Passover.
- 11. The final Pesach is at hand!
The final Pesach (Passover) is when YAH will pass over all those who have been washed with His Word & are sealed with His RUACH (Rev 7, Rev 9, Rev 16). In order for one to be Passed Over, one’s temple must be cleansed of all impurities & covered with the righteousness of Yahshua. Those who fit this profile would have grabbed ahold of the New Covenant & accepted the gift of the atonement of Yahshua, and lived according to his commandments, which exceed the morale standard of the Torah (law) of the Old Covenant (which is a topic for another time). Yahshua serves as the Living unblemished Passover Lamb for all those who are covered by his blood. The Father will not let it be shed again (Heb 10:12). When Yahshua returns, it will be as the Good Shepherd who inspects the sheep for YAH’s eternal Kingdom.
Matt 25:31-33, “When the Son of man shall come in his honor, and all the set apart malakim (angels) with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his honor: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.”
All those who are not counted worthy for Yahshua’s sheepfold will perish,
“And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal” Matt 25:46.
YAH is building up His Temple for His Kingdom to be ushered in once this last kingdom of HaSatan (the Adversary), has run its final wicked course (Rev 13:11-17, Rev 19:11-21). In order to stand during the horrific climatic kingdom of HaSatan & his children, one must be in the right mindset and have on the entire armor of YAH. A spiritual battle cannot be fought & won in the flesh. That is why we are told to worship the MOST HIGH in RUACH (SPIRIT) & in Truth. Those not equipped with Father’s RUACH and His Truth (His Word), will be slaughtered by HaSatan, the Prince of this world (John 14:30, Eph 2:22), via his puppets.
2 Thess 2:7-12, “For the mystery of iniquity does already work: only he who now lets will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Lawless One be revealed, whom the Adonai shall consume with the RUACH of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the Truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause Alohim shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the Truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
Don’t get caught on the wrong side of prophecy. YAH is looking for those who have the good wine (His RUACH), in their wineskins (bodies), that Yahshua is keeping until the wedding feast.
Faith comes by hearing & hearing by the Word of YAH. True disciples of Yahshua hear & do as the Word of YAH commands. When we do so, we discover that Yahshua is the Good Shepherd that purifies & leads all YAH’s elect back to Himself (John 10). Let him cleanse you, seal you with YAH’s RUACH & lead you to YAH’s eternal Kingdom before the final Pesach ensues. Please humbly,
- Repent, Cleanse and Transform your mind with YAH’s Word (Matt 4:17, Rom 12:2)
- Be sealed with YAH’s RUACH HaQadosh for the day of redemption (Eph 1:13, Eph 4:30)
- Be preserved in the time of the final Pesach to escape YAH’s wrath (1 Thess 5:8-9, Rev 9, Rev 16).
